The Instructional Professional Development Committee supports the growth and success of educators by helping coordinate high-quality learning opportunities for our members. Working alongside the union President and in collaboration with the District, the committee helps plan and promote staff development events, conferences, and trainings that meet the evolving needs of educators.

The committee also gathers member input through surveys to ensure professional development offerings are relevant, meaningful, and responsive to classroom realities. By attending trainings and staying informed on instructional trends, committee members bring valuable insight to the table and regularly update the Executive Board on key developments.

Through its work, the committee helps ensure that professional growth remains teacher-centered and impactful.
