The Organizing Committee plays a vital role in strengthening member engagement, unity, and action—especially during moments of urgency or crisis. This committee works closely with union leadership, CTA staff, and other committees to coordinate efforts that mobilize and empower members around key issues affecting our schools and profession.

Responsibilities include organizing support during negotiations, responding to district challenges, and informing members about political or workplace matters in collaboration with the Political Action Committee (PAC). The committee also supports communication efforts by working with the Corresponding Secretary to distribute timely information.

By attending trainings and staying connected with the broader union network, the Organizing Committee helps build a strong, informed, and active membership ready to stand together when it matters most.
