The Social Committee brings our union community together by planning and hosting events that celebrate, connect, and uplift our members. From casual get-togethers to major annual celebrations, this committee is responsible for organizing all social events held by the Association.
Key responsibilities include providing refreshments at General Membership meetings and planning special occasions such as the annual Retirement and Recognition Event, Day of the Teacher, and the Holiday Event. The committee also presents event plans and updates to the Executive Board to ensure alignment and support.
Whether it’s celebrating milestones or simply enjoying time together outside of work, the Social Committee helps strengthen our union by building a sense of camaraderie and appreciation among members.
